Based upon Eric Shipton's epic adventures in Southern Argentina and Chile, a team of four ski-mountaineers traverse the South Patagonian Ice Cap culminating in the summit climbs of Cerro Gorra Blanca and the remote volcano Cerro (Volcán) Lautaro.

Filmed in the largest glacial wilderness outside Antarctica and Greenland this exploratory ski-mountaineering expedition also passes below the awesome granite towers of Fitzroy and Cerro Torre.
